73 Year Old Man Gets 53 Years In Prison For Hate Crime Attack On A Mother & Child

An Illinois landlord who killed a 6-year-old Muslim child and severely injured the boy's mother in a brutal hate-crime attack has been sentenced to 53 years in prison.

The case out of Joliet, Illinois avoided national attention despite the attack happening days after the war in Gaza. After the recent case of Shiloh Hendrix it seems these kinds of attacks may be on the rise, which is why mainstream should have at least reported it.

Joseph Czuba, 73, was found guilty of murder, attempted murder and hate-crime charges in the death of Wadee Alfayoumi and the wounding of his mother, Hanan Shaheen.
