🚨 R. Kelly Overdosed in Prison? His Legal Team Says It Was No Accident

Chile… R. Kelly might be serving a 30-year bid — but according to his legal team, it’s not just the time that’s killing him. It’s the conditions.

Let’s break this all the way down.

Just days after his lawyers accused prison officials of plotting to harm him, Robert Sylvester Kelly — yes, the R. Kelly — was allegedly found unconscious in his cell. According to court filings obtained by AllHipHop, the 58-year-old was placed in solitary confinement on June 10th, and just two days later, was allegedly administered a near-lethal dose of medication.

The next morning? He reportedly fainted, lost his vision, and had to be rushed to Duke University Hospital.

💊 But here’s where it gets scandalous…

Doctors allegedly determined that R. Kelly received a life-threatening amount of medication — a dosage that, according to his attorney, could’ve taken him up outta here. And no, they’re not calling it an accident.

“They gave him an amount of medicine that could have killed him,”

— Beau B. Brindley, R. Kelly’s attorney.

Whew.

This comes after multiple emergency motions requesting temporary home release, with Kelly’s team arguing that his life is in danger behind bars. And now they say it’s not just the overdose — it’s the whole setup.

A fellow inmate, Mikeal Glenn Stine, even alleged that both prison staff and white supremacist gangs are actively conspiring to take Kelly out. Why? Allegedly to cover up prosecutorial misconduct from his original trial.

Let’s pause right there.

Whether you believe it or not, the vibes are giving “Silence him before the appeal.”

🩸 On top of all that?

Doctors reportedly found blood clots in both of his legs and lungs. They recommended surgery. But instead of receiving the care, Kelly was allegedly forcibly removed from the hospital against medical advice. Guns. Guards. Dragged out.

“He was denied the surgery he needs… This will be confirmed by hospital records. It is undeniable,” Brindley said.

After that? Straight back to solitary confinement. No treatment. No recovery. Just a cell and a prayer.

🗣️ So what now?

R. Kelly’s legal team is not letting up. They’re pushing hard for an emergency furlough, saying the prison cannot guarantee his safety, and that the recent medical emergency proves he’s literally not safe in federal custody.

Meanwhile, Kelly himself has reportedly gone days without eating, afraid he’ll be poisoned. Whether you think he’s a monster, a martyr, or both, one thing is clear: This case ain’t over.

💭 Final Thoughts:

I couldn’t care less😂
